“Donna, was such a special part of our wedding day. We chose to have a more personal wedding ceremony so it was important that the right person married us. From our first Zoom call with Donna we were impressed. She was fun, friendly and cared about our story! She listened carefully to our ideas and threw in a few alternative suggestions to make our ceremony unique.
On the day itself, it was our guest's first time attending a ceremony of this nature, and even the more traditional folk were wowed by how special and personal our ceremony was. Donna captured our style perfectly and crafted the most incredible emotional yet humourous ceremony that told our story and had our guest's belly laughing whilst crying happy tears.

From start to finish Donna was amazing. She communicated with us so well before and after the wedding. We loved the questionnaire she sent us to complete and we made a date night out of it at Donna's advice which was great as it gave us a chance to enjoy and reminisce about our relationship. We recieved so many compliments from our guests about the ceremony. It was the right amount of emotional, fun and genuine vows. It really felt as though Donna knew us.

David and I wanted something special and true to us for our ceremony so explored options and found Donna. I am Irish so always wanted a Celtic hand-tie ceremony as part of my wedding.
Not a lot of people understand the meaning behind it but within a few minutes of speaking to Donna she was telling me how her mother was Irish and we began to talk about why this was so important to me.
Traditional weddings are the same old same old they are outdated for today's society and finding Donna was a dream come true. We had our special wedding day in Bamburgh Castle exactly how we wanted it.

Donna was our lovely celebrant for our wedding at Hidden River Barn in April 2023. From the initial enquiry all the way through to the ceremony itself, Donna oozed professionalism, organisation and creativity.
In particular, her online booking system made it easy to have catch-up chats with her via Zoom, and her ‘Love’ questionnaire allowed her to create a bespoke personal script for our ceremony.
On the day itself, she conducted the ceremony just as we wanted it, full of love and laughter! We had lots of compliments from our guests expressing their enjoyment for her words.
We cannot thank Donna enough for her contribution for our special day, she was simply fantastic and would recommend her services to anyone!

What a fantastic ceremony!
Donna really brought our relationship to life for our guests. It was funny, tender, engaging, honest. Donna was great from the start, putting us at ease and working with us to get to know us and our relationship and to build and personalise the ceremony. Couldn’t have asked for more.
We would highly recommend her for any couple looking for something personal and different.
